I had a great time at Jim's 80th birthday party at the Oaks Golf Club at Bubwith, near Selby. There were a couple of children there who I taught some tricks to so they had something to keep them entertained and Lily did a good job learning the 9 card trick.

All my old favourites worked well including the lie detector test and coin bending.

Of the newer tricks Hedex worked just fine on its first outing so that could easily become a staple trick for me, Deadline worked once just perfectly but when I tried it a second time it failed so that needs more practise I feel, but I do like it.

Jim ended up with a signed inverted card with his (inverted) name on it as a souvenir.
